David just finished law school last week, and it was his mother’s 60th birthday, so we decided to celebrate in style (and cross something off our Southern Bucket List!) and hit up the Biltmore Estate. Fans of Downton Abbey would be fascinated by the house tour (unfortunately no photos were allowed inside). The Biltmore is a staggering 178,926 square feet, and the interior features include a diving pool, 40+ bathrooms, 33 guest rooms, servants quarters, three kitchens, a winter garden, and a 7-story dining room. The Biltmore is also famous for it’s gardens and landscape—designed by Central Park’s Olmstead. Check them out below!
